“A woman needs ropes and ropes of pearls.” Coco Chanel
Pearls are a classic that has made a comeback! Designers have found a way to reinvent them and make them fun. We no longer have to wear a strand of pearls around our neck. We are now seeing them adorned down the leg of jeans, on the bell sleeve of sweaters, and on sweat and tee shirts. Whether you are a girlie girl, classic or casual style, pearls can be incorporated into your wardrobe.
Here are a few ways you can rock pearls in your wardrobe:
- On Jeans-at first thought it might sound as if it doesn’t go together but in reality they balance each other pretty well. I picked up my pearl embellished jeans by Ana at JC Penney. Denim jackets and shirts have also been embellished with pearls
- On Sweaters, Blouses, Tee Shirts-these can be worn in fun, feminine or classic ways. Dressed up or down.
- On Shoes-from flats, loafers, block heels or boots; embellished shoes are a big hit this season
- On Handbags-a standout accessory can easily elevate an outfit. A pearl embellished handbag will do just that.
To get onboard with the pearl trend there’s no need to go dig out the pearl strand when there are so many other “non” around the neck ways to rock pearls. Check out a few of my favorites below.
Do you own any pearl embellished pieces? If so, tell us what it is.
